My goals for being creative in the future are learning to be more optimistic and open minded. I have learned from the whack on side of the head to play with it and not hold any thing back.
My current creativity skill is a 7. My current innovation skill is 7. I have over come barriers by not closing my mind. Learning to play with it. I learned to look at things in differnt ways and play with the ideas. Dont be foolish and dwell on things. Dont focus on just one idea learn to work with it more. And pause for a bit. Learn to take time and step back and away from the idea or situation and come back to it with fresh thoughts.
The one innovative idea that I came up with was a pick holder drawer on a guitar. At home my dad is going to use my idea and make a drawer on his acustic gutiar to see if it really works. So together we have been working on this project.
I have applied the innovation skills by learning to using the wikki and communicating ideas as a group. I used the skills of learning to play with it by taking different ideas and working with them through the feedback of others on the wikki.
I have applied innovation skills when coming up with the guitar pick drawer and the project I am working on with my father.
I have learned to be practical with my innovation skills and research them to see if they currently exist.
I have learned that and error may be wrong but could be another idea and I have learned to work with my mistakes even when sewing.

Innovation Journal 2
In class I have been being creative by brainstorming ideas and writing them down and then researching them according to what has already been created. I have been being innovative by creating drawings of ideas that will be done. I have also been working on our wikki and communicating ideas.At home I have been being creative by designing and doing beadwork and sewing.
In our group we have used the "ask What If" Theroy we ask what if with each idea. In our group we have also been using "Play with it" We have made drawings on the board, asked our family members and children for ideas. I also say that we used intellectual popcorn idea by throwing ideas out verbally and then writing them down.
Well I dont work around me new innovations that I have observed is that the front office here at school is being remodeled. I researched the field that I was in was which was customer service. I found that there are new innovations in resources for customer service. Like by improving programs time, searching websites, customers findability and improving content quality for websites for customer service reps and customer sites. They are developing smarter proudcts that gather data, provide feedback, and monitors performance. I am excited about smarter products because it helps us as a customer service rep to complete our job more effiently. If there is a smarter product that tracks performance, It would take the time of paperwork and files away and make it more efficent and progress more trackable. I feel it would make not only the supervisors job effiecient but the CSR's job easier for them to track progress.

Individual innovation journal 1
As of today I feel that I am very creative. I believe that I use my creativity on a daily basis. My creativity is an 8 of 10. The reason why I am creative is because I like to use my imagination and mind to come up with new ideas or activities to do. Now being innovative is hard. My innovative skill are probbably 5 of 10. I mean I completely understand how to be innovative but putting it to use is hard. The barriers that I face while being innovative is opening up my mind to new ideas and concepts that are outside of the norm. I will overcome those barriers by learning to open up my mind and let things flow.
Innovation around me today would be the research that my doctors are doing to diagnose my illness. The next step is surgery with special testing for enzymes and chemical make up. They will take apart of my muscle and innovatively test for 100s of dieases. I feel that this is interesting due to the fact that the new innovative miracle drugs aren't working. On the web I found that new pharmacuticals are testing innovatively with genomics and they are finding new cures for complex dieases.
So far I enjoyed the classroom activities. The creating a blog and maintianing it seems to be the hardest for me. Working as a team I am honestly scared of especially when we need to create a new product. I am enjoying my reading especially in a whack on side of the head.
